The Roots Users Group is conducting a new "Year 2008" survey of our membership to accumulate information about the computer and genealogy systems of our members to help us characterize our community and thus to serve our members better. This survey is in addition to the information previously collected through membership applications and the surveys conducted in early 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007.
This information will only be published in summary form (e.g. "20% of our users use Word Perfect as their primary word processing system"). Completion of this form is not a requirement for membership in RUG. We have found this information of help in determining what articles to include in our Newsletter and what services to provide to our members.
